How about some afternoon tea with Bob Blumer? The Surreal Experience...

When I found out I had won invitations to have tea with Celebrity Chef and Surreal Gourmet Host, Bob Blumer on 25 April, I was extremely excited.

Call it morning tea or afternoon tea, it didn't really matter... all I wanted was to meet him (actually, it would've been cool if we could all fit into his Toastermobile for some chatter and snacks, don't you think so?)

Maybe take a pic or two of us popping our heads out of his windows for some oomph and as proof that we actually met him! Hehe...

The cooking demo and high-tea came to an end all too soon. Time to get Bob Blumer's autograph on my complimentary copy of Surreal Gourmet Bites, "the food that will be the life of the party".

Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007 with homes and businesses switching off their lights for one hour.

My family was in Penang that night. We showed our support by switching off all the lights in our room from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm. And the Hotel we stayed in, supported Earth Hour 2009, by supplying their guests with candles. It was a gesture which we appreciated very much.

Total darkness for one hour... no "lights", no television... total silence except for our voices. It was a great time for bonding and sharing ...shhhhh!

Of Yummy Donuts and Pizzas

It's gonna be a buzy day... buzz buzz here and buzz buzz there...

First, I'd need make my way to PJ to collect some prizes. It's looking a little cloudy so I hope there'll not be any "flash floods" while I'm out or I'll have to swim home! Which reminds me, I don't have any "scuba" gear !

Wowee...4 wonderful bags..."PRECIOUS, MY PRECIOUS"... oops, "gollum" mode tryin to break out! PLEASE EXCUSE ME, while I switch back....ahemm...

LOL, they're really not mine, of course. I own only ONE of them, the other three belong to my pals. Muahaha... they're all here in my possession! Hehehe, don't worry-la... To my frens, I'll make arrangements to pass them to you soonest possible!

Tea-time, gotta fill 'er up 'cos tis tummy's feelin kinda hungry... Dig dig dig (in my bag) and guess what I find? A voucher for Pizzahut...ooo...yummy... can hear my growling tummy from a kilometre away.

Delicious and mouth-watering pizzas and garlic bread... you don't have to travel to Italy to enjoy some lip-smacking pizzas, you know... attack!... throw in some cold drinks and wha-lah...
Tummy's filled up..what's next...oh yes... light grocery shopping - for MORE food! :p

Well lookee here, there's no queue at J & Co donuts. Don't you just love their donuts? So absolutely yummy and delicious! What's not to like? Gonna buy a dozen to feed this hungry household. Oh dear, I do sound like a glutton, don't I? Gotta run and hide!

Err...what's this? Surprise surprise! The cashier just handed me a leaflet...wow, free donuts with purchases from 15 April 2009. Just Great! Gotta jot it down in my diary. Now it's time to head home James!

While queueing for MY donuts, I received a phone call - I've won 2 tickets to David Archuleta's showcase in Sunway Lagoon. Yesssss.... I like his songs...hmm... but to queue up at 8 am for a 3pm performance? That's a pretty long wait, isn't it?... I'll need to think about it. Seriously.

Nano nano n the ONE that almost got away...

I am so happyyyyyy.... just received my very 1st iPod nano AND it's so cooool. R-e-a-l-l-y... you must be thinking I'm "crazy" to be so excited ..... can't help it, it's cool as a cucumber :p .

A coincidence that I chose the colour “Green” ? Hmm…no, I think it’s a fun colour… besides, it’ll help remind me to reduce, reuse and recycle. To be more “eco-friendly” in my daily activities.

It's so good to be here....freeeee at last... :p I lurve bargains... the juicier the bargain, the happier I am! Come and check out what I bought at the HP Warehouse sales recently.

Yup, me bought meself two great headphones...as you can see, fluffy puppy decided to swipe one !

That leaves me with the other set ... two awesome headphones at super low prices....incredibly cheap ! Great to use when I'm feedin my tv addiction 'cos it doesn't disturb anyone else!
